Poetry

Poetry for me, are words that come from the heart. I don’t know if this is true of all poets but for me, my poetry is always inspired by something that has touched me greatly. It may be an image, an event, a moment in time, a flower or an emotion. My fictional writings come very much from my head, logically figuring out the plot, thinking of the beginning, middle and end in an attempt to bring the characters to life. Poetry is different, it is my emotional self speaking and expressing, the feelings on the inside being put into words to be seen on the outside.
